Pretty in Pink

Not to brag or anything (okay, maybe a little bit), but I must admit that this dress is my favorite so far--it's so much fun to have a little girl to sew for! The only bummer is that she is so far away... but thank goodness for technology, and Heather is coming to visit next month! Anyway, getting a little off track... here is my latest creation for my little niece:

Carolyn said she tried to get a good picture of Heather (not sure what a bad picture would look like, since I don't think she's capable of taking a bad picture), but Heather was far too intrigued by the ruffles on her dress--haha, that's right, my dress came complete with built-in entertainment! :)
So here's one of the back, so you can see all the lovely ruffles--so many ruffles... why are ruffles so cute? They can be such a pain to make... yet I keep on making them, because let's face it, they are just so cute!
Happy baby!!

Can't wait to see you sweet girl! <3
