Little Purple Pansies

When I was a little girl, my Grandpa would always sing Little Purple Pansies--oh how I loved to hear him sing that song!

Little purple pansies, touched with yellow gold,
Growing in one corner of the garden old;
We are very tiny but must try, try, try,
Just one spot to gladden, you and I!

To this day it's one of my absolute favorites, because little purple pansies remind me of Spring (those are always the first flowers we plant because they can survive the bitter frosts during early Spring), but mostly because they remind me of my sweet Grandpa. :) So, as a tribute to such a wonderful little flower, here is my latest zipper creation:

Thank you to Craft eNVy and Sugar Bee Crafts for featuring this project!
