Admittedly, I am at the fabric store more often than I should be--but there is always something that I've forgotten and desperately need before finishing my next project--or with Summer drawing near, JoAnn's keeps having sale after sale! It's just not fair... I can't stay away! A fabric store or a craft store is my version of a candy store for a child. :) So, on one of my numerous trips recently we were waiting in line to cut some fabric, and because I can't just stand in line and patiently wait, I took and number and started browsing up and down the isles--I had no intention of buying more fabric, but you know those coordinated fat-quarter fabric bundles they keep in the corner? I should avoid those... but I can't, and the colors were just so cute, so I had to buy this adorable polka dot flannel.TinkerMama, I learned how to do machine embroidered appliqués (I love technology), and made a few new burp-cloths for baby Heather:
This one is my personal favorite. :)
But that only took care of 3 of the 5 fat quarters, and my ADD refused to make more burp-cloths, so next I tried a few baby bibs:
Who knew that having a baby niece could be so wonderful?! Baby things are just so much more fun to make than big people things. :P
